About OPOW

The Office of Multi-Sport Complex (OPOW) of Biskra is a public administrative institution responsible for managing sports facilities in the Biskra region.

Our History

OPOW was established by Ministerial Decree No. 01 dated December 30, 1998, and became operational in 2002. Since then, we have been dedicated to providing world-class sports infrastructure to serve athletes, clubs, and the general public.

OPOW is committed to developing and maintaining high-quality sports infrastructure to serve athletes, clubs, and the general public. We strive to host regional and national competitions, support youth talent, and provide a healthy environment for physical activity.

Management & Governance

OPOW is managed by a Board of Directors established by Decree No. 1263 dated July 22, 2001, issued by the Governor of Biskra. The board was last renewed by Decree No. 1621 dated September 13, 2022. The organization is led by a Director assisted by department heads, unit heads, and a dedicated team of staff and workers.
